Privacy policy
Last updated: September 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how UAB "Rebel Origin," trading as Tingit ("Tingit," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information in connection with the United States version of the Tingit online store, related communications, customer support, and other interactions that link to this Policy (collectively, the "Shop").
For purposes of this Policy, "personal information" or "personal data" means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked to an individual or household, as defined by applicable law. It generally does not include deidentified, aggregated, or publicly available information excluded by applicable law.
The Shop is powered by Shopify. Shopify also processes personal data in connection with Shopify-powered stores and services. Shopify's own consumer privacy practices are described in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy at https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy/consumers.
1. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Depending on how you interact with the Shop, we may collect the following categories of personal information. These categories are also intended to describe categories we may have collected during the preceding 12 months where a state privacy law requires that disclosure:
-
Identifiers and contact information, such as name, email address, telephone number, billing and shipping address, account identifiers, IP address, and similar identifiers.
-
Customer records and commercial information, such as products viewed, cart activity, purchases, returns, refunds, promotions used, order history, delivery information, and customer-service history.
-
Payment and transaction information, such as billing information, payment status, transaction identifiers, and limited payment information. Full payment-card credentials are generally processed by our payment providers rather than stored directly by Tingit.
-
Internet, device, and network activity, such as browser type, device type, operating system, cookie or pixel identifiers, pages viewed, links clicked, referring URLs, timestamps, interactions with the Shop, and similar usage information.
-
Approximate location information, such as location inferred from IP address or shipping information. We do not intentionally collect precise geolocation through the Shop unless separately disclosed and permitted.
-
Account and authentication information, if account functionality is used, such as login or account-security data processed through our ecommerce platform.
-
Communications and user-generated content, such as support requests, emails, reviews, comments, photographs, or other content you choose to submit.
-
Marketing and preference information, such as newsletter subscriptions, marketing choices, promotion participation, and inferred interests based on Shop interactions.
-
Fraud, security, and compliance information, such as risk indicators, transaction-verification information, device signals, and records needed to detect fraud, protect accounts, or comply with law.
-
Inferences, such as likely product interests or preferences derived from browsing, purchase, or interaction data for analytics, personalization, or advertising where permitted.
Sensitive personal information. We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you. Certain information used for account authentication, payment security, or fraud prevention may qualify as sensitive personal information under some state laws. We use such information only for legitimate operational, security, legal, or other permitted purposes unless we provide a separate notice.
2. HOW WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may collect personal information from the following sources:
-
Directly from you, including when you place an order, create an account, request support, submit a return, subscribe to marketing, participate in a promotion, or submit a review or other content.
-
Automatically from your browser or device through cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, server logs, analytics tools, and similar technologies.
-
From Shopify and other service providers that support ecommerce hosting, payments, fraud prevention, shipping and fulfillment, customer support, reviews, communications, analytics, or advertising.
-
From advertising, analytics, social-media, or marketing partners, where permitted by law and consistent with your privacy choices.
-
From other lawful sources, such as publicly available information, fraud-prevention sources, or information supplied by a person purchasing or shipping a product to you.
3. HOW WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may use personal information to:
-
Process, verify, fulfill, deliver, return, and refund orders.
-
Provide customer support and respond to questions, complaints, warranty or product-safety matters, and other requests.
-
Create and manage customer accounts and authenticate users.
-
Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the Shop, our products, and customer experience.
-
Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, chargebacks, or unlawful activity.
-
Analyze Shop traffic, product interest, conversion, and other business metrics.
-
Personalize content, offers, and advertising where permitted by law and consistent with your choices.
-
Send transactional communications about orders, accounts, returns, product safety, or service matters.
-
Send marketing communications where permitted by law, and manage your marketing preferences and opt-out requests.
-
Administer promotions, discounts, surveys, reviews, or other programs in which you choose to participate.
-
Comply with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, product-safety, sanctions, customs, and law-enforcement obligations, and establish or defend legal claims.
-
Carry out a merger, financing, acquisition, sale, restructuring, insolvency, or other corporate transaction, subject to applicable law.
4. HOW WE DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients for the purposes described in this Policy:
-
Ecommerce and technology providers, including Shopify, that host or operate the Shop or provide platform functionality.
-
Payment processors and financial-service providers used to authorize and process transactions.
-
Shipping, fulfillment, warehousing, customs, and logistics providers used to deliver or return orders.
-
Customer-support, communications, email, review, IT, cloud, security, fraud-prevention, and professional-service providers.
-
Analytics and advertising partners that help us measure performance, understand audiences, or deliver advertising, subject to applicable law and your privacy choices.
-
Government authorities, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other parties when disclosure is required or permitted by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.
-
Parties involved in an actual or proposed corporate transaction, such as a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, insolvency, or sale of assets.
-
Other parties at your direction or with your consent.
5. SALE, SHARING, AND TARGETED ADVERTISING
Tingit does not sell personal information for money. However, depending on the technologies enabled on the Shop, we may allow advertising, analytics, social-media, or similar partners to collect or receive identifiers, device information, internet or network activity, commercial information, approximate location, or inferences for advertising, measurement, or personalization. Under some U.S. state privacy laws, certain of these disclosures may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or processing for "targeted advertising" even when no money is exchanged.
Where applicable law gives you a right to opt out, you may use the "Your Privacy Choices," "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information," or data-sharing opt-out link made available in the Shop, where available, or contact support@tingit.com. We process recognized browser-based universal opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), where required by applicable law.
We do not knowingly sell or share for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising the personal information of consumers we know to be under 16 years of age.
6. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
We and our partners, including Shopify, may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Shop, remember preferences, prevent fraud, analyze performance, personalize experiences, and support advertising. Some technologies are necessary for the Shop to function; others may be used for analytics, personalization, or advertising.
Your browser and device may allow you to block or delete cookies. The Shop may also provide a cookie or privacy-preference tool in certain regions. Blocking cookies or similar technologies may affect Shop functionality. Where applicable U.S. law provides an opt-out right rather than an opt-in consent requirement, we will honor valid opt-out choices as required by law.
7. SHOPIFY AND OTHER THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Shop is hosted and powered by Shopify. Shopify processes consumer personal data in connection with the Shop and may act as a service provider, processor, contractor, or independent business/controller depending on the Shopify service and processing activity. For more information, review the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy/consumers
Other third-party services integrated into the Shop may collect information directly from your browser or device or receive information from Tingit to provide payments, shipping, reviews, analytics, advertising, communications, fraud prevention, or other services. Their processing may also be governed by their own privacy policies.
8. MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
If you subscribe to marketing emails, we may send promotional communications in accordance with applicable law. You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism in a marketing email or by contacting support@tingit.com. Opting out of marketing does not prevent us from sending transactional or service communications that are necessary to complete an order, address a product-safety issue, maintain an account, or otherwise manage our relationship with you.
If we offer SMS or text-message marketing, we will provide any additional consent disclosures and terms required for that program before enrollment. Consent to marketing is not a condition of purchasing products unless expressly permitted by law.
9. PROMOTIONS AND FINANCIAL INCENTIVES
From time to time, we may offer a discount, coupon, sample, loyalty benefit, or similar promotion in connection with signing up for communications or providing certain personal information. Participation is voluntary. If an offer constitutes a "financial incentive," "price or service difference," or similar program regulated by applicable law, we will provide any additional notice required at or before enrollment, including material terms, how to opt in or withdraw, and any legally required explanation of how the benefit relates to the value of the personal information.
10. U.S. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on your state of residence, our size, the volume or type of personal information we process, and other statutory thresholds or exemptions, you may have some or all of the following rights under applicable U.S. state privacy law:
-
Right to know or access the personal information we process about you and, where required, information about categories, sources, purposes, and recipients.
-
Right to obtain a portable copy of certain personal information.
-
Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
-
Right to request deletion of certain personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
-
Right to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling where those concepts and rights apply.
-
Right to limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information where applicable.
-
Right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent and the law provides that right.
-
Right to appeal a denial of a privacy request in states that provide an appeal right.
-
Right not to receive unlawful discriminatory treatment for exercising applicable privacy rights.
These rights are not available in every state and may be subject to exceptions, verification requirements, and statutory thresholds. We will not represent that a particular state law applies to Tingit where it does not.
11. HOW TO EXERCISE PRIVACY RIGHTS
Where applicable law grants you a privacy right, you may submit a request by emailing support@tingit.com. For opt-out rights relating to sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, you may also use the privacy-choice or data-sharing opt-out tool provided through the Shop, where available.
We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. Verification may involve matching information you provide with information already associated with your account, order, or customer record. We will use information collected for verification only for verification, security, fraud-prevention, or other legally permitted purposes.
Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law. We may require evidence that the agent is authorized to act for you and may also require you to verify your identity directly, except where applicable law requires a different process.
If applicable state law gives you a right to appeal a denial, you may appeal by replying to our decision or emailing support@tingit.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal." We will process the appeal as required by applicable law.
12. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY DISCLOSURES
For California residents, this section supplements the rest of this Policy to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA), applies to Tingit or to the relevant processing.
Categories collected. The categories described in Section 1 may include CCPA categories such as identifiers; customer records; commercial information; internet or other electronic network activity; approximate geolocation; inferences; and, where applicable, limited sensitive personal information used for account security, payment security, or other permitted purposes.
Business and commercial purposes. We collect, use, and disclose personal information for the purposes described in Sections 3 and 4, including order fulfillment, customer support, security, fraud prevention, analytics, personalization, marketing, compliance, and business operations.
Sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information for money. As explained in Section 5, certain disclosures involving advertising or analytics technologies may be treated as "selling" or "sharing" under the CCPA. Where required, California consumers may opt out through the Shop privacy-choice mechanism or a recognized opt-out preference signal such as GPC.
Sensitive personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about consumers. If we engage in a use that triggers a right to limit under California law, we will provide the required method to exercise that right.
Shine the Light. California Civil Code Section 1798.83 may provide certain California residents rights concerning disclosure of personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes. Requests may be sent to support@tingit.com.
13. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Shop is a general-audience ecommerce site and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected such information in circumstances covered by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we will take appropriate steps to delete it or otherwise comply with applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact support@tingit.com.
14. DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to fulfill orders, provide support, maintain business and tax records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, address product-safety matters, and protect rights and security. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information, purpose of processing, legal requirements, and whether you exercise an applicable privacy right. When information is no longer reasonably necessary, we may delete, anonymize, or deidentify it, subject to applicable law.
15. DATA SECURITY
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No internet transmission, system, or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential and for notifying us if you suspect unauthorized account activity.
16. INTERNATIONAL PROCESSING
Tingit is operated from Lithuania, and the Shop uses service providers that may process personal information in the United States, European Economic Area, Canada, and other jurisdictions. As a result, personal information may be transferred to or processed in countries other than the state or country where you reside. Those jurisdictions may have different privacy laws. Where a law imposes specific requirements on an international transfer, we will use legally required safeguards.
17. THIRD-PARTY LINKS
The Shop may link to third-party websites, platforms, or services that Tingit does not control. This Policy does not govern the independent privacy practices of those third parties. Review their privacy notices before providing personal information to them.
18. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, services, or legal requirements. We will post the updated version with a revised "Last updated" date and provide additional notice where required by law. We recommend reviewing this Policy periodically.
