We didn’t start by simply making products. We started by fixing what was already in your closet.
Tingit was born out of a simple, glaring observation: the world is obsessed with making new things, but completely missing the mark when it comes to keeping good things alive.
Founded in Europe by Indre and Robert, repeat fashion founders and industry veterans who spent over a decade building, selling, and consulting in ready to wear, Tingit began as a digital repair and restoration marketplace backed by over 200 artisans across Europe. Having seen fashion from the inside out, Indre and Robert knew firsthand that the real bottleneck to sustainable style was not a lack of love for great clothing and footwear. It was the friction required to care for them.
Over thousands of restorations, our marketplace connected people with master craftspeople to repair everything from worn-in vintage leather boots to five-figure archival designer handbags.
Why We Created Our Care Line
When we looked at standard options for garment maintenance at home, everything fell short. Heavy-duty stain removers destroyed fabric structures and faded colors. Legacy shoe cleaners relied on harsh solvents that ruined leather and sneakers. Removing everyday wrinkles or odors meant wrestling with heavy irons or spraying cheap, fake perfumes.
There had to be a better way. So, we built it.
As busy parents running a company, training, and managing chaotic households with kids, we needed solutions that worked instantly. We did not have time for complicated routines or constant trips to the dry cleaner. That personal frustration directly drove the formulas we developed.
We created IronLess because neither of us wanted to drag out an iron every morning just to get our kids out the door looking presentable. One quick spray smooths out wrinkles in seconds, saving fabrics from heat damage and saving us precious time. We formulated Better Smell out of pure necessity for our active lives. Between workout gear, sports bags, and daily wear, we needed a formula that actually destroys odor-causing bacteria at the molecular level instead of hiding it under heavy synthetic fragrance. Magic Cleaner became our go-to lifesaver around the house, engineered to dissolve stubborn marks on clothing, sneakers, upholstery, and carpets the moment a spill happens. To round out the routine, we built Better Cleaner as an active foaming cleaner that lifts dirt from delicate fabrics, suede, and leather without soaking or warping them.
We took the exact standards used by master restorers and translated them into simple, professional-grade formulas for real life. The clothes, shoes, and textiles we bring into our lives carry our memories, our daily routines, and a piece of who we are.
